Jennifer Cannon is the Executive Director of Westminster Assisted Living and Memory Care of Decatur. With 29 years of experience as an LPN and 15 years dedicated to assisted living and memory care, I have devoted my career to serving the elderly population. I truly believe caring for seniors is my calling, and I strive each day to lead with compassion, empathy, and a servant’s heart. As an Executive Director, I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for like family. My goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of residents, families, and staff through strong leadership and genuine care. Outside of work, I love spending time with family, being outdoors, photography, thrift store shopping, going to estate sales, antiquing and working in my booth at River City Pickers. Her compassionate leadership, healthcare experience, and dedication to residents make her a valued part of the community.

My name is Kimberly (Kim) Watkins, I am the Business Office Coordinator for Westminster of Decatur. I have worked in office management and health care for 15+ years. I have worked in this position for 4 years and truly love my job. Once I meet a family and work with them through the move in process, they become family to me. I enjoy helping the residents with different things and seeing them smile.

Hi, my name is Djkwnia “Gwen” Borden, and I have been working in healthcare for more than 40 years. I have worked at this community for 13 years. I love my job and taking care of the precious seniors who live in our community. I have a special place in my heart for dementia care, and I have been certified as a CNA since 1990. I consider myself a people person. I love a challenge, and sometimes my job as the SIC is just that, but I truly enjoy working with my co-workers. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and gardening. I’m an outdoors person and love being outside whenever I can.My favorite activities with the residents are simply visiting with them, playing music, planting flowers, and making them laugh.

Hello my name is Lori McGregor; I am the Life Enrichment Coordinator at Westminster Assisted Living and Memory Care in Decatur Alabama. I have been at Westminster since August 14th of 2014. Several of my friends worked here at the time and thought I would be a good fit and here I am. This was my first time working in health care, but I knew right away this is where God wanted me to be. I love my residents; I love the challenges that each personality brings, and I love how we here at Westminster make this our Home not just a facility. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Greg, for 36 years. We have two wonderful sons, two wonderful daughters in laws and two of the most precious grandchildren in the world (in my eyes) that my residents get to hear about all the time. When I’m not at work, I am with them or hanging out at car shows with my husband in our 1965 Impala. God has truly Blessed me.

I am Sharmeshia Orr. most people just call me Meshia for short. I am Dietary Manager. I have worked in dietary in senior living facilities for over 20 years. I really enjoy cooking which is one of the reasons I got into dietary. I enjoy creating foods that the residents love and appreciate gives me a great feeling.
